Hole church in Ringerike is a medieval parish church from ca. 1200. Of the original Romanesque stone church remains only the nave. The altarpiece "Communion" dates from the 18th century. "Crucifixion / Resurrection" is from the 16th century.

One of the two main churches (together with Norderhov) in the located in the rich, old cultivated landscape Ringerike. Played a role as "election thing" prior to the assembly of members to decide the new Norwegian constitution 1814.

The present church in two parts: the Medieval church in west (used as a chapel), and the modern church rebuild after a fire 1943 in east, connected through an entrance.

A spectacular church, the exterior all built in local stone, Ringerike sand stone. In the eastern end wall a niche with a statue of The good shepherd.
