The farmstead, with eight timber buildings from the 1600-1700's, is beautifully situated by the path. Here you can stay in an authentic pilgrim house, "Sælehuset," which is constructed and designed for pilgrims. The house is a reconstruction of a sælehus (accommodation from the middle ages).

Sælehuset have electricity. There is a kitchen equipped for cooking, and beds, table, wood stove and drying rack for shoes. There are also a variety of foods for sale (bread, butter, spreads, dinner, various drinks, etc.). You can sleep in your own sleeping bag or we have linen for rent. The outdoor area has a great view. A small library with literature on nature, culture and pilgrimage are available for the guests. It also has a piston to stamp the pilgrim passport. Wi-fi available.

There is access to WC in a separate house in the yard. Several of the other houses in the farmyard also have accommodation, (store house, smokehouse, and barn). Hæverstølen has a total of 20 beds.

Hosts at Hæverstølen are Unni Larsen and Børge Dale.
