Værnes Church

One of the oldest stone buildings in Norway.

Værnes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Stjørdal in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Prestmoen, near Værnes. The church is part of the Stjørdal parish in the Stjørdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The building material is stone/brick and was built in 1100. The church is of long plan and 320 number of seats. The church has conservation status protected by law.
