Pilgrim Center Hamar - visitor and information center, and hostel

This visitor and information centre provides guidance and help to plan pilgrimage walks, between Oslo and Nidaros. We can give you updated information about the trail, the hostels etc.

Some pilgrims also choose to begin their pilgrimage here (about four weeks left to Nidaros).

We can offer a blessing or a quiet moment for yourself in Hamardomen in the morning, before the museum opens. Please get in touch if this is of interest to you.

We also have guide books, brochures and maps, as well as the pilgrim passports.

During high season, volunteers and host at the pilgrim centre, contribute to the good feedback we receive from the pilgrims.

Many precious memories are made when travelers from different nationalities and backgrounds come together, sharing memories from their walks.
