Vestry Church is the parish church in Vestby, Akershus. The present day church, that replaced a medieval stone church, was erected in 1886. The area where the church is located is called Kirkebygda, just west of the center of Vestby, on an area that belonged to the farm called Vestby. This farm eventually became the vicarage. In 1885, the old medieval church was taken down. Source: lokalhistiorisk wiki
