The Sinclair Inn is situated at Kvam and is a natural stopover for travellers along the Gudbrandsdalen valley. They are known for their delicious food and rated as one of the top roadside diners in the country. Accommodation with included breakfast is offered at their comfortable motel.

Sinclair is also host to a historical exhibition of "Skottetoget" (The Scottisch Campaign) and the battle of Kringen in 1612. During the Kalmar war between Denmark-Norway and Sweden in 1611-13, 300 Scots came to Norway to assist the Swedes. When the Scots arrived at Kringen, just south of Otta, they were tricked into an ambush by a small army of Norwegian farmers. Most of them were killed and the few survivors are believed to be executed at "SkottelÄven" (The Scottish Barn) at Kvam. The exhibition is open on request
