The farm Tuv

Originally Tuv consisted of one farm, but from the middle of the 18th century it was divided, and now there are three farms called Tuv. The word Tuv means a peak or peak elevation on a surface. The farm has a panoramic view over the cultural landscape.

In the 1600s, two of the owners of the farm Tuv were sheriffs (fogd in no.) and the place was called fogdegard. One constable was Anders Olufsen Tuv and one of his descendants still owns one of the Tuv-farms.
