Trollhaugen cabin

Two small cabins (Loftstua and Stabburet), for rent for hikers along the Østerdalsleden. Booking via e-mail, payment through Vipps or cash. Code lock on the door, code provided when booking.

• Both houses have all the necessary kitchen equipment, glasses, plates, cutlery, washing up tub etc.
• Refrigerator and gas stove in Loftstua.
• Water in tap on the outside. For Stabburet there is an outdoor kitchen with a roof, but also a small kitchen bench inside. Cooking options on the wood stove here.
• Not electricity, but solar power. Mobile charging possible through 12v charger (bring ordinary usb-cable).

Closest groceryshop at Tynset, 10 km before you arrive.

You pass Seljestadtjønna on the way down from the path towards the cabin, where you can have a swim. From there, about 10 minutes down to the cabins.

On request (price NOK 500), the host can fire up the outside hot tub. NOTE: Wood-firing takes 10 hours, so let us know in good time.

For NOK 50 you can have a shower (private inside).

The gate on the yard is an exact copy of the Jørungard medieval farm from Kristin Lavransdatter.
