Toftemo Tourtis Station has been in operation since 1820 and offer accommodation and dining in a historic atmosphere. The site has been operated as a transport station since it was established and was originally a part of Tofte Royal Estate. When King Haakon VII travelled through Norway after his coronation in 1906, he, Queen Maud and Prince Olav were accommodated here.
