Stensveen is situated in an old villa and has 4 rooms with 7 beds altogether for rent; - 3 double rooms and 1 single room. Breakfast and packed lunch can be bought, and dinner is served upon request.

At their location by the lake Mjøsa they have a large garden with fruit trees, a barbeque and a bonfire pit. Dogs are unfortunately not welcome to stay due to allergy.

The Viking ship Balder is located by the the pier just below the bonfire pit. It can be rented to transport pilgrims, for example across the lake to Domkirkeodden, where the ruins of the old cathedral in Hamar are located.

This hostel is accredited and recommended by the National Pilgrim Centre. It has met the same requirements, and holds the same standard, as the pilgrim accommodation along Camino de Santiago and Via Francigena.
