Fasillities near Stadsbygd Prestegård:

We are the closest neighbor to the Museet Kystens Arv (The Coastal Heritage Museum), which has great exhibitions: Active clinker boat building, restaurant and museum shop. Further east past the Museum you will find burial mounds and rock carvings in the beautiful hiking area of Berga. To the north it is only a fifteen minute walk to the center of Stadsbygd, where there are two supermarkets, hairdresser and a paint shop. One of the supermarkets is also open on Sundays from 10 - 22. Ten minutes further from the supermarket you will find a sports hall with a gym. A twenty minute walk in westward direction will take you to the small farm shop "Fruene i Fjøset", and to Stadsbygd leisure boat harbor and the cultural monument "Tåkeklokka". Apart from this it is generally nice to walk or bike around Stadsbygd, while the surrounding hills offer numerous beautiful hiking trails of varying difficulty. There is a hiking stage on Kystpilegrimsleia from Reins Kloster and over the hills to Stadsbygd, as well as from us and through Berga to Rørvik ferry port where you can take the ferry over to Flakk outside Trondheim. Alternatively, you can go all the way to Vanvikan where there is an express boat to the center of Trondheim.
