A cottage for rental was built already in the late 1800s, for recreation purposes for urban dwellers, where hunting, fishing, and hiking was greatly appreciated. The owner of the mountain farm received in 1992 a certificate for exemplary completed restoration of the place. All houses at Spellmovollen is newly restored.
