Singsås station is located along the old Røros railway, and is a natural junction along the Østerdalsleden.

For most pilgrims, the train will be the easiest means of access alongside the legs. We recommend trains for practical and environmental reasons. Singsås station was opened in 1876, the year before the entire Røros railway was completed. Singsås is located 479.92 kilometers from Oslo S and 175.6 meters above sea level.
