The church has been the subject of rebuilding several times and that is perhaps the reason why it is not the most famous medieval church in Norway. The old stone building's acoustics is widely known, many famous Norwegian artists have made use of it in conjunction with concerts and recordings. Selbu church is worth a visit if you are seeking worship, art adventures or just a quiet time for reflection. Open road church during the summer.
