Rendalstunet consists of several houses and areas: In the old school building you find a café (open daily during the summer), a small shop, tourist information and several exhibitions.
At the "prestegårdstunet" (the house of the priest) you can experience an old yard with houses from the 1800s, with a main bulding from the 1700s. The famous author Jacob Breda Bull was born here, as he was son of the pastor. The house where he was raised and lived most of his life is now a museum in the memory of him
By the gate of the museum there is a milestone with the distance to Nidaros written, 264 km.
