The pilgrim hostel Millom
After a couple of days of hiking from Eidsvold through the forest in Stange allmenning, the landscape opens up and you get the first glimpse of the largest lake in Norway; Mjøsa lake.
A little further down the road is the pilgrim hostel Millom, originally a small farm from 1865 with some buildings over 100 years old. Pilgrims can spend the night in the old "storehouse" (two beds). There is also two beds in the old main building, where you are free to use the living room and a small kitchen (for simple cooking).
Above the yard, in the old barn, there is an outdoor toilet and a shower with hot/cold water. This is available for those with tents and this also applies to the kitchen.
The hosts, Sonja and Jens, stay in the newly built main building at the farm.
