Millom pilgrim hostel

The old farm Millom is situated in quiet and idyllic surroundings, and is a nice place for a rest. Outside the hostel, you there is a pleasant patio under the trees, where you can sit down and let your mind wander.

Provisions can be purchased at Eidsvoll. There is a small selection of try foods that can be bought on site. Camping is allowed.

After a couple of days of hiking from Eidsvold, through the forest in Stange, the landscape opens up and you get the first glimpse of the largest lake in Norway; Mjøsa lake.

You have now reached Espa and only a little further down the road is Millom pilgrim hostel. This was originally a small farm from 1865 and some of the houses are over 100 years old. Pilgrims can spend the night in the old "stabbur" (storehouse) (two beds). There are also two beds in the old main building, where you'll also find a living room and a small kitchen.

Across the yard in the old barn house, there is an outdoor toilet and a shower (with cold water). Pilgrims camping in outside the house may also make use of these facilities, as well as the kitchen.

The hosts, Sonja and Jens lives in the new main house on the farm.
