Lillehammer Church is constructed with red brick in a neo gothic style. The exterior of the church is the same as when the church was built except the front doors that were changed in 1959. Much of the interior was changed during this renovation including benches, the altarpiece and pulpit, and the roof construction was redone.
The old church that stood at the same site was taken down in 1882. This was a small wooden church, possibly constructed partly using stave technique.
Lillehammer church is open daytime and welcomes everyone in for a moment of peace and quiet.
