The Pilgrim house at Lia Gård offers accommodation and is also a meeting point for pilgrims on their way through Østerdalen. It is beautifully situated on a height with a fantastic view over Storsjøen lake. This is a nice place for a rest, surrounded by the forest and silence.

The Pilgrim House at Lia welcomes pilgrims and hikers. We offer accommodation, meals and information about the trail.
The Pilgrim House was opened in 2023 and is run by pilgrim hosts who are happy to welcome you and give guidance during the summer season.
The stave church in Lia, Johanneskirken, is located right next to the Pilgrim House and is always open.
At Lia Gård retreat centre, there are often ongoing retreats. It may be possible for the pilgrims to attend the daily prayers there.
Lia Gård also has other options for accomodation: NOK 300 per person per night in Pilgrim cabin at Sørlia (Lia). Access to shower and toilet. Breakfast and lunch from the food box NOK 150. Hot food/dinner NOK 75.
