Merethe and Torbjørn Mertens have drifted the farm since the beginning of 2020, and they are happy to welcome pilgrims to stay at this stunning accommodation.

Prices

NOK 900 per night for a flat including living room, kitchen w fridge/freezer, bathroom w shower, and a double bed (150 cm) - price is for 1-2- people
NOK 800 for cabin with double bed (150 cm) - price is for 1-2 people
NOK 650 per night for a single room
NOK 350 for pitch for tent for 2 people. NOK 50 per extra person. (this includes access to all facilities)
All prices include 12% mva.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome, and a rom for dogs with dog bowls is available

The farm can be contacted via email, phone or WhatsApp (same number). The host speaks Norwegian, English and German.

Transport

It is possible to be picked off and dropped off either at the end of Bakkemyrveien or Botne Church for a fee of NOK 100 per trip. Must be arranged in advance.

Food

The host can pick up groceries for pilgrims for en extra fee of NOK 100. Shopping list must be handed in a few days before visit.

Kaupang Guesthouse

- Located along Tunsbergleden, in a beautiful area.
- A total of 6 single cabins with a double bed and shared toilet on the cabin grounds
- Two single rooms
- An apartment with shower, living room, kitchen and double bed.
- Two showers in stable building

Facilities:
- Kitchenette in the stable with all kitchen utensils
- Two newly renovated bathrooms in the stable
- Access to washing machine

Kaupang gård is 3 km from the trail and the hosts can offer transport from the end of Bakkemyrveien.

If you are arriving from south, please, note that the closest supermarket is Spar Nykirke.
If you are arriving from the north, the best supermarket is Coop Xtra at Gullhaug.
