Glomstad Guesthouse has a long and rich history stretching back to the 16th century. The oldest houses at the site were built during the 18th century, and livestock farming was the main livelihood until the 1980s.

The first tourist arrived at Glomstad in February 1943 and since then guests from every corner of the world has been welcome. A lot has changes since then, but hospitality, good service and delicious homemade food is still the main focus.

With a magnificent view, a pleasant hostess and a comfortable atmosphere everything is set for an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is accredited and recommended by the National Pilgrim Centre. It has met the same requirements, and holds the same standard, as the pilgrim accommodation along Camino de Santiago and Via Francigena.
