Hadeland Glassworks enjoys an idyllic setting on the southern shore of the lake Randsfjorden, just an hour’s drive from Oslo and 45 minutes from Gardermoen airport.

The area around the Glassworks is like a small, charming village. At the heart of the operation is the glassblowing studio Glasshytta. Here glass is still blown using traditional methods and there is an extensive production of wine glasses as well as special designer goods and decorative projects.

Pop in and see the glass blowers carry out their traditional craft. Every weekend and every day during the summer season you can try blowing your own glass.

Our many shops offer visitors a warm welcome and a great experience. Enjoy our beautiful park and go for a refreshing dip in Randsfjorden.

The glassworks village also provides a unique backdrop for courses, conferences, functions and other events.

We are open 7 days a week the year round and boast a variety of activities for both children and adults. Come and experience our traditions, history and culture, and discover the latest trends and designs.
