Furnes church

Furnes church is beautifully located between the two farms Stor Deglum and Vesle Deglum.

During the middle ages, pilgrims would visit a wooden church to the right of the current church, in the garden of Stor-Deglum. The “new” church was finished in 1708, a short distanse away from the old one, and built from stones from the cathedral ruins at Domkirkeodden in Hamar.
