The Eystein Church is situated in Dovre municipality, Oppland county. It was built in 1969 as a church for pilgrims and wanderers. The church lies where the three counties of Hedmark, Oppland and Sør-Trøndelag meets.

The name is derived from King Eystein Magnusson who was King in Norway in 1103-1123. Under his reign the area's first church was built. Eystein Church is built in concrete. Stone and sand was brought from the local mine at Hjerkinn, and when the sun shines you can see the pyrite glisten.
