Note
Budsjord means "the bishop's land" and was first mentioned as early as year 1400. Budsjord was then the property of the Archbishop of Nidaros. The yard consists of 17 antiquarian buildings. Old inventary and tools are preserved. The farm has a good view over the valley where the pilgrim trail starts its climb towards Dovrefjell.
Dogs are welcome.
Budsjord offers accommodation, food and guided tours for pilgrims.
