Auskin Creative Center

AKS is located in peaceful surroundings. The food served here is organic, locally sourced and based on traditional cooking.
We have 30 beds and a kitchen with seating for 30 people, and a large patio for socializing around the campfire.
Self catering is possible, as well as washing and drying of clothes and shoes. We have a stock of basic food, first aid kit and sanitary products that can be purchased if the store at Vuku is closed.

There is a room made available for contemplation, with meditation scheduled every Wednesday at 21.00 to 22.00
It is possible to rent workshops for creative work, both with and without a teacher/instructor, as well as receive personal guidance on the walking process using art therapy.
In the oral narrative tradition of Olav Haraldsson, the story tells us that parts of Olav's army rested here on what today is called Olsåkeren (Olsfield), before the final leg to the Battle of Stiklestad. The story provides a good foundation to contemplate what attitudes you carry with you, and what one must let go of in a confrontation before approaching Stiklestad.
