Åkre - Skårsåsetra

The pilgrimage begins with a relaxing walk on dirt roads by the Pilgrim monument at Åkre. You continue on toward Otnes and Ytre Rendal church. Here you have the possibility to spend the night at Ungdommenes Hus (The youth house) right next to the church.

The next day continue along the Rena River to Øvre Rendal. Here you can visit the Bull museum, and Øvre Rendalen church. You stay at Smedberget Pilegrimstun, an accommodations for pilgrims.

On the last day you walk up to the Fonnåfjellet. Here you will find a wonderful mountain terrain with a beautiful view of Norway oldest National park, Rondane, to the west and Sølen to the east. At this point there is no lodging, so make sure that you bring a tent.
